Escorting the Billionaire (The Escort Collection #1)

Escorting the Billionaire

This is the first book in The Escort Collection  and after a very long time I got to read a book where the escort was female. The book was sweet and funny, but at times I felt it too long.  It was my first time reading a book by Leigh James and I found that I loved the dual point of view style of writing because the reader understood at all times what was going through the characters mind.  The characters were well developed, but at times I did find Audrey annoying especially when she was always putting herself down. I found the chemistry and sex scenes average because there was nothing special or hot about them. There were also many funny scenes and hilarious one liners from both James and Audrey when they are discussing James's family, which gave the book a lightness which I loved. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Rating: 3.5/5

Plot

James Preston is a real estate billionaire who is forced to hire an escort as his date to his brothers wedding in order to keep his family off his back. He just wants a date with no mess, relationship or sex because he has once lost someone he had loved dearly.

Audrey Reynolds has been forced to become a high end escort I  order to keep her I'll brother in his group home. James is now paying Audrey more money than anyone ever has, but the only problem with him is that he is gorgeous and too normal.

As James and Audrey spend time together, their chemistry forces them to now include sex in their contract, but now they both realize they might be perfect for each other. While fighting their dysfunctional families, will James and Audrey'S love survive?
